Description : Ganpatipule Ganpati Temple is a 4000 year old Swayambhu Ganpati Temple of Maharashtra, India.(Swayambhu means a self-originated idol, Ganapati). This is one of the popular temple of Maharashtra. It is flooded by thousands of devotees and tourists every year from all over India. Ganpatipule, the Lord of the 'ganas' or army and "pule" means sand dunes. It is known to be one of the 'Ashta Ganapatis' (eight Ganpatis) of India and as 'Paschim Dwar Dewata'(Western Sentinel God).
